i've got CUCV axles(4.56 and detroit) that are goin under it. i did disks on the rear and completely rebuilt the front. new bearings/seals/brakes/tie rod/etc. im using the SKY crossover kit and using some 8in BDS up front. in the rear im going shackle flip and re-using the blocks i currently have(for now) i also have extended greasable shackles up front and back. i've got my 39.5TSL's that i plan on mounting up later in the week...

1st question... where can i get valve stems from and how do i install them.

2nd question... what should i set my rear pinion angle at???...im gonna bolt her all up and mark where i want the perches, then have a "mobile welder" come and weld them up for me

3rd question... my crossover kit has a bend in it...does that bend go up by the pitman, or down at the axle??? and which end gets the longer threaded TRE????

i took off work this thursday and friday and hope to finish then. tomm i just wanna get the front all torn down and figure out how to get the damn truck high enough with my jackstands.haha. thanks guys, any pointers would be great

you can get valve stems anywhere, IE tire stores, you could pay for them at your local autozone...to install you just take the cap off, push into the hole, then there is a tool that screws n and you pull it though.

your pinion should point straight at the t/case output. No more than 2 degrees of angle at the axle pinion yoke.

the bend goes up next to the pitman arm. it is there so it doesnt hit the crossmember.

well, it commenced. got the whole front end out, shock steering brakes, and loosened leaf springs(left in while truck is on jackstands just in case) it's good insurance the way i figure it. well, ill get some pics of the swap up when i get a chance guys. thanks for the info.
