Well last night I started to pull the Int from the K5
what a mess. The floor does not look all that bad.
Next is remove the hardtop cut the steel top off, doors, tailgate kinda like my own monster garage /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif.
Any tips from the people that have done this? and any regrets?
Whish me luck if I can figure how to post pics I will.

If you're doing all that, posting pics should be a piece of cake!!!! Good luck. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm in the middle of something similar to what you're doing now. Since I have no floor in the back and I won't be able to carry passangers I was thinking of just skinning the bed sides on my K5 and making a pickup cab type wall behind the front seats. I think the added visibility would be awesome and I could make a storage unit and a spare tire carrier (not that I'll ever have a spare 44" TSL /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif) or some kind of cage work back there. It's just an idea right now though... but if it wasn't raining today I do have a fresh demolition blade for the sawzall and a new 10 lb. spool of wire for the MIG. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
