Not sure where this goes:dunno: so feel free to move it if needed mods:waytogo:

My garage is frickin tiny and needs alittle tlc:rolleyes: as the pics show:doah:. I'm finally out of vehicle stuff to do that requires overnight stay in it. so time for a remodel/organize. plan includes,,, finish insulating the outer walls, strip house side wall of old siding and cover it in a solid (no seam) piece of plastic, hang 7/16" osb on all walls, build a loft with insulation and osb for ceiling, Paint white, add 4 more lights and move them to the ceiling, garage door opener eventually, and roll tin or aluminum all the way around lower parts for welding/grinding fire protection.

you should rent that out to movie companies, hang some shape, rusty looking knives from the ceiling and you're done :D

Its pretty bad:haha: To think, me and my kid did alot to his 72 k5 in there. it was sorta tight for 2 years:D i got a bunch cleaned up in a short while tonight. and found a few things to sell. hopefully it all goes well and dont cost much. I figured up 250 for the cieling and another 100 or so for the rest of the OSB

hard to see but there is progress here, whole pile by the big garage door is going to the dump

well I got the main wall stripped today. I gotta pull that crappy stuff off of the old window hole and fix it right. then cover the whole wall in 1 large piece of plastic. Gonna be a bit before I can get the rest of the osb to cover the whole wall.

then its ceiling time:D

gone:waytogo: didnt keep ice for chit

Ran out of funds for it at the moment:doah: OSB skyrocketed so its tripled the expected price on me:confused: I've been trying to sell one of my AR's for a while now to do this and my yard work thats needed. Nobody seems to want it though:dunno: I may just charge it and get it over with:rolleyes:

I saw a home depot flyer last weekend in the paper, when my eyes saw a sgeet of 7/16" OSB "on sale" for 14.99,my eyes went ...jeeez,I was in Lowes not all that long ago and it was 6.99 a sheet!..what happened?..has the price of wood chips and glue skyrocketed suddenly?..plywood was worse,20 bucks a sheet for crappy 3 ply 3/8" crap too..

A "free" source of OSB I came across was at a factory I was getting pallets from for firewood for free--turns out many of them have a 40x48" or so hunk of OSB on them thats not even nailed on,that they "saved",and eventually they had hundreds of them cluttering up the warehouse, and they offered them to me for free...if you can deal with the smaller sized sheets its great for covering walls, attic floors,sheds,etc...look on craigslist for free pallets in your area, you might get lucky...

actually I bought the place as a fire salvage for 9k:waytogo: 2 different owners TRIED to burn it down on 3 seperate occasions. they both failed:haha: Its been a LONG remodel. but its getting there. I'm thinking of doing drywall :dunno: Id rather have osb though, its down to $12 a sheet right now so I may just grab it. :doah: I hate to pay that though
