In no way am I whinning about the security, I feel that if he had enough reason to throw me off campus, I am willing to sit down with him and figure out what I can do to maybe reverse his decision. I realize to any regualr person that isn't exposed to this sport, is going to think what I was doing was very dangerous. It's everybody's decision to either love or hate law enforcement. I have no problem with authority. In fact I am studying to be in Law enforcement and my dream would be to be in the criminal investigation or FBI/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

judging by some of the responses I guess I better clarify... I think cops are great, they get much respect from me... what I f-ing hate are the cops/security/etc with nothing better to do than to give guys a hard time when they really arent doing anything wrong (I.e. munching a bash car at a charity event). Which makes up a very tiny percentage of police, but a majority of local security guys. So, while my statment included the po-po, it was mostly aimed at campus security, mall security, etc... I have gone on a ride-along and know that the life and death danger of a simple traffic stop has to wear on a person...

yeah i agree with ya... cops r good... cops being hardazzes for no real reason aren't good. I mean, Ive seen peeps in 4x4s get pulled over for some unknown reason (which is quickly forgotten) and then the cop basically goes looking for something not street legal about it. I mean, if there is something blatant, sure pull the guy over... but doing the full on tech inspection complete with measuring tape to check every thing is just a joke. Meanwhile, who knows how many drunk drivers, speeders, reckless drivers, cars with APBs out on em etc are cruising right on by. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Cops have a tough job, no question. I have a lot of respect for cops. At the same time, i really dont like it when some cop is a hard ass for no real reason.

Everbody hates cops, till they need'em. Campus security is one thing, but bashin police officers, rubs me the wrong way. No Officers around here do that sort of thing. I really cant see why he would do that, unless they are trying to crack down on that sort of thing. I'm not familier with your towns lift laws.

There are quite a few possibilities that could have resulted in that happening. 1. They have had trouble with vandilism in that field before. 2. They recieved a call from someone stating you were in the field doing doughnuts. Regarding the warrent, Your name might have been the same as somebody elses that had a warrent. I run into that alot, usually check DOB's or SSN to square it away. No problem there, defitanly not something to whine about here.

Maybe they had drunks, murder's and rapist to chase. Seriously, taking a report is definatly not a high priority call. Depending on how many patrol units are out, and the calls that are givin it is very well possible a report call can wait for hours.

I dont know you from anybody, and I dont know the cops that work in your area. But like I said, most people who dis-like cops have been in trouble with'em before. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

9 times out of 10, there's a very good reason for the cops/security to be talking to you and that reason usually is because of your own damn stupidity.

There's a lot more to law enforcement and security work than chasing drug dealers and murderers and rapists and since some of you are ignorant of that fact, maybe you should call your local agency and ask for a ride along one night and find out just WTF cops have to do and deal with on a daily basis.......

ok, ok, im kidding. cops have thier palce in live like any other rule enforcing party may it be campus security or mall security. the thing is, like people there are good cops and bad cops.
