Well this dizzy work with a MSD Ignition box?

What MSD box? Anyway the answer would be yes. It will not be a direct plug in like some of the MSD distributer, but will work just like the stock distributer.

I'm running an MSD 8365 GM Pro-Billet H.E.I. unit in my 383 stroker. I spoke to Mr. Janke, the builder, about using an MSD Ignition Box, #6, Off-Road version. His response to me is that it really wouldn't give any more HP or advantage. It's not needed.

I'm not really up on what the system does, and I didn't get into it, but I have to think that a man of this reputation who has built every type of motor from Pro Street/Racing Circuits to DD, knows a little somethin'.

I wonder what???

Not much more power, but does give you a hotter spark and the option of a rev limiter. I use the 6t box mainly for the soft touch rev limiter. I have bumped the limiter many many times in the mud, that alone makes it worth the money to me.

MSD stands for Multiple Spark Discharge. You can hook any distributor to an MSD box. It doesn't really do anything noticeable for you but it does help.

Really depends on the box. Differant boxes support differant systems. But for a stock type ignition, yes the 6 series boxes will work on almost all systems.

That will work fine with that ignition as long as your not running a race only coil.

Yep. The 6a does not the 6aL L stands for limiter. You put differant chips in it to set the limiter rpm.

just get the pro billit distributer so you don't need that hei coil adapter. the box plugs strait into the pro billit and you use the blaster 2 coil like normal.
