Well, This time I rolled it.

I washed off all the dirt. I dont know how bad the windshield frame is tweeked, But it doesn't look too good. Also, Im afraid to open the tailgate. I don't know if it will close again.

Tailgate doesn't look like it will shut or open for that matter.

You boatside it, dovetail it and shorten it.

Those are my next plan.

Jeff, spray expanding foam around the gaps in the windshield and call it good. The truck is now a hardcore play toy.

I consider a bad rollover when the cab is literally smashed down to where you can't sit upright and see out the windows. :doah: Yours is still in good shape. It'll rub out. :D

It was a hard roll. Downhill. The cab held up well. I don't think it would crush unless I rolled down a big hill.

I need to get a glass guy to do the window I think. Or maybe I could do it. Also need a passenger front door and a front drivers window. Two side mirrors and a rear side glass.

I drove home at 70mph for over an hr on I-5. Drove great except for a couple air leaks from the windows.

They aren't anything to brag about, but I have a pair of mirrors you can have. The passenger side is not convects (sp?)

Also, I really like that Sub body on CL. Want me to check it out?

Im good on the mirrors. Thanks though.

The add is kinda old but a hell of a find. I called him and left a message. I would just take off what i need and scrap the rest. Im going to bash this body some more and then make some changes:D

For $100 bucks, you can't lose.
And if for some reason it's doesn't happen, I got a few '84ish-'88 something Subs you can grab stuff off before they head to scrap.

Dont you dare put good sheetmetal on that rig jeff! That should be a sin

That would be awesome!!!

I need both front doors at least, We'll the passenger for sure. I can pound out the huge dent in the drivers door and just get a window for that one.

In 2 weeks we are going on a run to Last Chance Canyon. And right around that time there is a car crush at the local 4 Wheel Parts. They promised me at lest 5 cars so I won't only have 2 like last time.

Well at least use some pre crappy doors so you dont ruin good ones lol

It's out there near Ridgecrest/Randsberg in the El Paso Mtns.
Did some prospecting out there.
Should be fun. Loads of cool trails.

So how mad is your bikini car wash girl. She put all that hard work in and you take it out and roll it. She may never help again. Better get her some ice cream and make it up to her.

man, thats to bad. i hope you can turn it into something positive.

ANYTHING can be made into something positive. It's a bad ass Chevy and he's a off roader and a member of CK5. There is no limitations :D. Personally I would do some extreme sheet metal surgery and make it into an Avalanch type rig. Taper the rear and nose, maybe do flay fender type wheel well openings up front. Maybe ya might have to remove and replace the windshield frame. Or go custom windshield frame with a flat piece of Lexan, thats almost indistructable. Something easily replacable/removable. Full cage with 76' up removable half top. Just took a moment to think of all that :D.
