I went with the local club again today. The snow might look easy, but trust me. When you break through the 6" crust.........................it is about 4 feet down to solid ground. The snow under the packed stuff was like sugar. have you ever tried to pack a snowball out of a handfull of sugar?

Any how, here are some pics. the narrowed Jimmy is a local guy named Mike Hixson. he should be coming around here soon. Believe it or not, he has never heard ok CK5. Well I introduced him to the site.

And yes, I did finally get a new front clip. I had to replace the Rad support, hood, inner and outer passenger side fender. Here is the damage from Januray's wheelin' incident.

very nice pics that is a lot of snow, i think my sub would have just sunk to the bottom.

you guys dont look very aired down!?!

90% of the day was spent standing around, waiting for someone to get unstuck. Everyone got stuck at least 3-4 times. I still had alot of fun though.

You know, i waved at Mike when I was welding up bumpers in the back of my uncles shop and had my truck out, he was going like a maniac. I've seen his truck a lot when I was in Cheyenne

Most of us were running about 6psi all day long. The S-10 hybrid ran 3psi and broke the bead once.

Cool pics!

I experienced the "Crust" effect last weekend myself. Spent most of the day riding with others though after I snapped my front CV shaft.

canuk red?

The 'Peg here, but I spent 3 years guiding out in NW Ontario out of Sioux and Grassy Narrows. Probably heading out that way this spring to hit the Walleye and the Lakers. MMMmmmm Shore lunch.

Thinking of getting hydro maps and running the lines in NE 'Toba up into some remote lakes as well. Just got to get the pig finished and roadworthy. Should be some snow, slop, mud n loonshiet (bog like stuff but shallow) along the lines in early spring ripe for tearing through.:D
