i need to get some angle iron...i called to local steel supplier that suppplies to all the machine shops in the area and they gave me a rdidculous price....120 bucks for a 20 foot stick of 6x4 5/16 angle...thats ridiculous....i looked of scrap or used steel in the phone book and didnt really find anything...what to do???i will treavel close to richmond if its worth the trip...anyone in richmond or around that has any???

i just talked with a supplier buddy of mine down in richmond. he doesnt have any 5/16 thick but does have 3/8 thick. your cost would be $101.00
what you are looking for is not readily availible and that is why it cost so
much. if you want that pc of 3/8" , let me know and i will set it up for you to
pick it up.

Scrap prices rose five bucks a ton here,to 115 bucks a ton yesterday!.. --so you'd better buy it quick,or I bet the price for new steel will take another hike shortly!..wish I hadn't scrapped most of my heavy junk already...
