What 3/4t Axles?

I have a chance to get 3/4ton axles off of an '85 pickup. I know the front is a 10-bolt, but which 14-bolt should i expect to find? sf or ff? Also what gearing came stock?

These would be going on my 78k10 and repalcing the 10 & 12 bolts with 3.07 gears so anything should be an improvment. Also, should these just bolt up without any mods?

Will have a SF rear. Gears "should" be either 3.73 or 4.10. You will need to address to the rear u-bolts as they will be 3/8" wider inside.

Thanks, i had a feeling it would be an sf. I might just hold off until i find a d44/14ff. I've learned my lesson allready with reusing u-bolts, so that will be one of the 1st things i buy.
