My kid was about 7-years old when I took this picture. This truck was the first vehicle he ever drove 10-years later when he turned 17.
I let my son start learning a manual trans at 10 with my old departed '79 K30.
And let him drive my '70 and my '72 when he turned legal.
And let him drive my '70 and my '72 when he turned legal.

Well my son bought my Dad's '72 when he was 15, it's still getting built, and he bought himself an '03 D-max and loves it. But he still intends to finish the '72.
Baddass!!! Perfect timing for me,brother. Im teaching my son in two weeks. He lives an hour and a half away from me now. So anyday of the week is out,but i get him labor day weekend!!!!

I drove my dad's '70 Blazer when I was 10 out in the desert...amazing. Then 5 years later I bought my '79 K10 and have been building and driving it for 20 years now. Awesome memories.
My daughters first time driving about a month ago she’s nine. Can’t wait to take her again soon
