If you're 27, why are you living with your folks? Get a place of your own and no one can take anything thats yours then.

i'm guessing to save a buck. not always fun, but not a bad idea. after college, i moved back in and stuck around a lot longer than i had originally planned. not the most fun, but it really paid off when i bought my house. got more house than i could have otherwise, plus money left over.
