At lunch today a co-worker and I went to the local "calssic car showroom" They basically sell any mucel car or hot rod or custom classics. Nice cars and custom stuff to look at.
Today they have a 72K5 with a freash white paint job.
Keep in mind I have been wrencing on my 72 for 11yrs now so I kinda know it inside and out.
So I ask him how much.
His first comment was.
This thing is PERFECT, completely restored
I had to bite my lip /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif
Then he said
17,995.00 /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
Ahahsahshahahahahaahahahahahahahaha
I was nice and didn't say anything.
It had some kind of lift probly 3 to 4" and a homemade looking tranfer case droped crossmember. It wa a single crossmember and it hung way low, one good smak on a rock and breakage for sure. Things like cracked doublewall top and "truck" type light bar inplace of the factory one. It had the CST on the door but didn't have the factory AC.
anyway 17,995 I had to tell someone
