the guy has pivoting spring mounts for his leaf springs. looks like it would flex a ton, but is it really a good idea or not? not looking to do it, jus found it surfing pirate.

i got a similar setup, i'm swaping it out for 63's, and yet is does work.

ive seen that truck in person before all of the narrowing/bed/bobbing. not that i am a professional, but the welds on the front look like chit. i wouldnt copy any aspect of that truck for any reason. it does have a track bar on the rear, but just looks scary to me.
