thinking of having my q-jet rebuilt or going with one from SMI.which adapter is required(if any)to bolt to e-brock performer intake,i need to pull the P.O.S E-BROCK CARB OFF.i'm not impressed buyit and i'll never own another one.thanks.

edelbrock intake

I have a performer intake (and carb) on another truck that I don't use anymore. I want to keep my q-jet on the burb. How much power gains would I see by swapping in my edelbrcok intake? How much weight loss would that be?
thanks,

James

Hard to isolate the difference, or remember, but I do recall a rewarding step-up in response. Weight, ?15#s.

im pritty sure the e-brock intakes have a speadbore and a square bore hole pattern cut in them so no problems. if so get one of those cheepy converter spacers from autozone
