What all sensors on a 5.3 effect the way it runs? (Narrowed it down)

I know. Lol. I was just venting my frustration about electronic BS.

Short of disconnecting all the plugs and ringing them out for continuity, after figuring out what wire goes where to ring it.... I'll still be in the same spot when I'm done. Because most likely it's going to ring out good at that moment.
I have already shook all the harness I could move, the plugs on the components involved, shook the wires at each of said plugs, etc... I cannot make it happen. Nothing I did messing with wires anywhere made it happen. :dunno:

Worst part of the whole deal is I steared the purchase to one of these trucks boasting they're hard to kill and just work.
And it's run almost a 3rd of the time we've had it is all. And most of that it ran bad. :doah:

If I have to ring it out, that's what I have to do. But I will need some way to identify what wires go where to ring em

No. Haven't changed that.
Pressure seems to stay at 45-50.
The running issue is related to the throttle position sensor. It sounds like it's just running chitty, but it's the reduced power mode making it run crappy. As soon as I clear the TPS code it instantly runs great.

That's what I thought. But I'm not sure the gauge I'm using is great either.

When the TPS isn't throwing a code it runs awesome.

45-50 is low end of the spec. 55-65psi is ideal. I'd compare to another gauge because they run pretty crappy at 45 psi. Plus they set lean fuel trim codes because it's shy on fuel.

But like shady said, fuel pressure won't give the actual reduced power message.

The gauge is my dad's old one from who knows how long ago.
Thing runs strong and smooth when it's not in code. And the only code that ever comes up are the two in the pics above.

I would definitely like to change the fuel filter and stuff in it. But have been chasing the TPS stuff mainly.

My father in laws was doing the same thing just a 8.1 ill ask him when I see him, what they did..

My Ls swap is not happy at 48 psi, I'm putting in an AEM hi-pressure pump to hopefully fix my issues on my swap.
