should be a female deal that screws into your cord on the mount or at least thats the way my Barjans are. Try going to a truck stop thats usually thebest place to find CB stuff. You should be able to score a mount for around 12 bucks that your antenna will screw in the top and your wire into the bottom. While your at it maybe get a spring for between the mount and your whip. Will make life alot easier on the whip.
Colby , the mount you have is meant for directly through a panel . You would solder ring terminals on the end of the coax in lieu of the connector . Shield to ground and center to tip .
Do as stated above and go get a new stud and mount at a shop . It would accept a 3/8 x 24 thread antenna , and have the coax threaded end on the bottom .
Don't let the metal base of the antenna touch the mount either. It looks like your upper plastic bushing is shot in that pic, and the antenna/metal washer is shorted to the mount. That's not good.
