My K10 doesn't get used much, so I'm thinking about selling it off. This one:
1983 K1500 LWB, 6.2/700R4/NP208. Transmission was professionally rebuilt 20,000 miles ago (corvette servo and shift kit). I replaced the c-code intake with a 6.5TD intake. The bed was replaced due to rust issues. There is some bondo on the doors and one rear fender. The paint is 10' quality. Rear axle was rebuilt after the G80 died, and the passenger-side fuel tank was replaced. And other routine repairs. Otherwise it's in stock configuration. I bought the truck from the second owners, who had bought the truck in the late 80s. Aside from my two trips last summer, the truck has spent its life on the street. Truck has been kept in good working order. The low coolant light is broken, but I will be fixing that soon. Everything works the way it should aside from the air conditioning (have never tried using it).
Yes, Brian & Griff, the wheels now match. I'm sure that doubles the resale value.
So what is this hunk worth? My biggest hesitation in selling it is that I don't think it's worth much to the market.
