Need a little help from those who know or have experience with smog laws and altering there tbi intakes. I want to order a few parts from the below link but i wanted to confirm that i am allowed to do or will still pass smog in my case.

http://marine-performance-parts.com/gmtbiperformance.aspx

The parts i am looking to purchase are as follows:
the adapter for the psi fuel gauge (#500-200) pretty positive this is legal
The adjustable fuel regulator (#500-100) smog legal as well i think
The salad bowl or velocity stack
The injector spacer (#PP-100)
The tbi spacer (#500-050)

I tried contacting the company with no luck yet so i thought i would post and see what you guys knew or had feedback on. Also are there better products you would recommend ie a different brand?

I do know with the tbi spacer you need to adjust your tv cable.

thanks again guys

Thanks for the response! I didn't think so but the website says i might and i really don't know how to confirm as any of the local smog techs all have different opinions and i don't know how to read or decipher the law let alone where to even look.

May i ask tho? Do you know by experience or how did you come to your understanding of such?

From my understanding, if the part has been issued a CARB number then you're good to go. Read up on it here.

I have had those parts in my Sub. The TBI spacer and salad bowl will never be noticed by a smog check. If you are really worried, spend the 10 minutes it takes to remove them prior to the smog check. As for the fuel pressure regulator - it is not an issue at all.

Ok cool I figured I was good just wanted to check with others. Thanks again

I have all of those parts on mine with the exception of the TBI spacer as I tried one once upon a time and then my throttle cable, TV cable and cruise control rod would no longer reach the TBI and after talking with my trans guy he said unless you raise the throttle bracket the exact same amount as the spacer you'll end up eating tranny's no matter how much you try to adjust the TV cable since the arc that cable goes through will no longer be correct and can't pull the TV cable properly.
