well, as stated...i don't care about lights/wipers/horn,anything except running the motor....i have a hacked up harness in a 1987 V10 and i have a motor with a HEI dizzy....basically i need started and distributor hooked up right???? but is htere any type of diagram so i know which wires to use coming out of the firewall???

Well hell , if you have a hacked up harness , don't care , etc . Just run a wire form battery to switch , and switch to HEI .

Or a simple search for wiring diagram would of found lots of posts , including the one that has this in it :

You might want to hook up the alternator, too.

yeah, but just to start the mother all ill need is the pink wire from the ECM to the starter, then an ignition wire of some type right???? then ill work on radio/alt. etc....
