Couldn't find anything about them in the Haynes manual, and I have no clue what they are. I'm told replacing them could solve the problem with my truck cutting out whenever I put it in reverse

(Sorry for the pic quality, phone pics):

Some sort of positive jumper?

cutting out when you put it in reverse? this start since you put in the new trans?

I bought it with the TH350 in, so I'm not sure...it just cuts out 75% of the time, hot or cold, when I put it in reverse.

the first one is a circuit breaker, it is not factory. the second one is a terminal block like readymix said

nooo. is it only when its cold that it ucts out?

waht are yuo idleing at? if your around 4-500ish wehn in D or N your too low bump it to around 750.

No tach, so I'm not 100% sure, but it feels around 600rpm, and when I put it in reverse and it doesn't cut out, it feels like it drops to about 300-400rpm, really bogging down.

Cuts out hot and cold, runs rough hot and cold. Plan on buying a code reader here directly, since the dash SES light is out and I can't do the paperclip method.

How do I change the idle speed on a TBI?

when you put it in gear it will drop rpms. its just waht happens...lol.

there should be an idle adjustment screw...on the throtlte body drivers side where the throttle cable is...there should be a screw that if you tighten it will bump up the rpms.

Nope. To adjust idle on a TBI you need to adjust minimum air.
Look over at the third gen website for good directions.
