What are these?

I picked up an '85 6.2 yesterday for FREE but know little about them except that I wanted one. Can anyone ID this box in the first pic & the part with 5 pins located between the oil fill cap & the thermostat housing?

The box would be the fuel filter. The other thing Im not really sure about, might be cruise control related.

The first i was thinkin fuel filter?? I know i've seen this on equipment I should know this

when someone guesses it i'm gonna shoot myself.

As for the second io thought cruise control at first glance

First box is the fuel filter, it attaches to the firewall on the passenger side.

The second pic is of the cold advance, high idle when cold
(HPCA)

What Kenny said.

I'd grab a Racor set up for filtration rather than use the Model 80 box filter. Spin on's are so much easier to service, and the model 80 has known issues with cracking and leaking slightly behind the filter.
