I had a friend who's family is big in the Baja / trophy truck circuit. They used to run BFG's and Goodyears that had the same markings on them. They were only sold in standard race sizes and were a different compound than the DOT versions. If I remember right, it was a harder tread compound than comparable DOT tires and intended for longer duration at higher speeds, kind of like Z rated car tires for the off road world.
I'm not sure if that's what you have in the pic, but I remember him always getting cool sponsor tires that I could never have.
Maybe some of the CK5'ers that run the Hammers can enlighten us.
based offthe old mt/r tread of good year.
and reason for no dot # is in the one pic you posted RACING ONLY![]()

A tire grover with a flat blade....
Would take those restrictive letters off![]()
but you wont like race tires on the street. most are thinner sidewalls = more flex . and compound is so soft it would eat them up in no time on hard /hot street driving.
. I dont think the half hour drive to the dunes would eat em that quick.A tire grover with a flat blade....
