I have a 95 gmc k1500 1/2ton truck and I'm assuming it has a 10 bolt rear? I blew it up last night and I am trying to find a replacement. Also, what other axles will bolt up to the truck without a whole lot of mods?

1/2 ton 5 lug?? Then it's a 10 bolt. Not sure if the light 3/4 will be a bolt in deal, but thinking the u-joint would be the only difference, other than the 6 lugs.

do you have tow package? u might have a 14bsf, if not then its a 10b

if you blew it up, you more than likely had a 10blt

im assuming by K1500 you have a 4wd... so its 6 lug

you can find any 6 lug 10blt to replace it, or do the smart thing and find a 6 lug 14sf from a 88-98 4wd k2500LD or certain 88-98 ext cab Z71s (note: one from a 2wd 2500LD will be too narrow)

It is a six lug. I know its not the 14bolt sf. Are 10bolts all the same through the years or will only a certain year range work? What knid of mods would I have to do to put a 14bsf in? Brake lines, parking brake cables, spring perches?

new u joint and u bolts/plates is all thats needed to swap a 14sf. not to sure about the ebrake... perches will match up on the years of 14sf i mentioned above

any 88-98 10blt will bolt right up

I have a 10b with all good parts just a bad housing. you could have it if the parts will fit your unit to repair it.

you are reasonably close come and get it?
