Here are pics of the axles I have, I am not familiar with all the types of axles to identify them visually, I just know them by name... so if you guys could help me that would be great. I'm pretty sure the rear end is a 12 bolt, but am confused about the front end. Thanks alot

No thats the weird thing, its an '86.

I really don't know what to make of this truck haha, the guy I bought it from bought it new off the lot, an '86 GMC K5 Jimmy. It was supposed to have a H.O. 305 in it, but he told me he had blown it up, and he had the guys install a 350, now once I pulled the motor I found that it was actually a 305 out of a '79 car, and was carbureted. Also I found reciepts with the truck saying that it got a different th700R4 put in it at some time, and then it needed to be rebuild because the wrong valvebody was installed, so basically its got a rebuild 700r4 now with not many kms on it. He told me that he had warn locking hubs installed in the truck because it had full-time full wheel drive in it, so when I bought it I assumed it had a np203 transfercase, but it actually has a np208 in it, which is correct for the year, but also has the warn locking hubs up front. Now I see that it has a 12 bolt in the rear, with 6 bolt hubs, but I don't know why, I don't see any record of the truck having a rear end swapped in it, and he never mentioned anything, plus this truck is in stock condition so he wouldnt have swapped it out for 4x4 reasons, it was a DD. Also the crossmember that holds the transfercase and tranny has been taken out of its original mount holes and bolted under the frame rails instead of inside (looks like it was done to get a better driveline angle if it had had a big lift put on it, so i don't know what to make of this). The more I pull this thing apart the weirder it gets...
