I've been looking and reasearching but haven't found much on this topic, I'm looking into it because my whole body is unrepairable rockers, floor pans, tailgate exc... and its hard to find good bodys out here in I'll. I'm just looking for an alternative way to go about this.

Thanks- jim

Nothing is a direct bolt on. Seen everything from pickup cabs of various vintages to S10's and then a bunch of car bodies.

Could just buy a whole truck out west and bring it back. Rust free us the way to be.

You weren't thinking a car body, right?

A weekend road trip south with a trailer could net you a cheap rust free truck to start over with. That would be the easiest and cheapest solution in the long run.

Otherwise you could find a rust free pickup cab and swap that on and fab up a short bed for the back. This will require making body mounts for the rear of the cab.

I'm thinking about another jimmy body or maybe a fullsize truck body maybe, definantley nothing to diffrent from the origional. Thx

search trazer here. its a truck cab of 73-87 style like the blazer body and 4ft flat bed or cut down box. that would be the closest thing to bolt on.
