I picked this bolt together cage a while back and finally cleaned, painted and installed it. The tube has a seam, it bolts to the floor and is put together with sleaves on the outside. Here's some pics. Any one have any ideas what company might have made it?

I know smittybilt used to make them for Blazers and trucks so that would be my guess. :D

As opposed to a factory cage? :D

I didn't know Smittybilt made a bolt-together kit (as opposed to weld-together) but it's entirely possible, especially for the half-cab trucks or pickemups.

This one is allegedly a Smittybilt, and is for the 73-75 full 'verts.

Similar design, but that's not a guarantee.

Looks pretty similar. Mabey it was cut up to remove at some point and the sleves were added when put back together.

I was just thinking, it looks really similar, the floor plates and a pillar bars look almost identical, I remember wanting a smittybilt (like 15 years ago) and for some reason I think they had a bolt in or weld in option. I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time :D

The floor plates and a pillars look a lot like my smittybilt cage in my full vert but the bar connecting the a pillars is different:dunno:
