i want to get a set of bucket seats for my truck. i was looking into the 99-04 jeep grand cherokee black leather seats, power, and heated. Only reason i was thinkin those was cuz my sister has an 01 grand cherokee and they are REALLY comfy. ALso the dimensions for the front mounting are the same...

What other kinda seats have ppl put into their trucks?

basically anything will fit w/ enough work. A popular choice is to go w/ newer 90's chevy pickup 60/40 split seats but beware that seats out of something newer will put you through the roof of your truck because of the hump in the chevy pickups....so you'll have to cut and put shorter "feet" on them.
I have also heard that the captains chairs out of the Astro vans line up w/ the outside holes so you would just have to drill 4 holes for the center mounts...

i used the seats from a burban in my truck only thing i had to do was use the tracks off two bench seats and cut the extra bracket from the burban for the front

you can make anything fit. I have bucket seats out of my old Fiat spider in my truck. they actually match really well. the brackets are simple. I can get some pics if you would like.

2000 Silverado Seats. Pretty Easy To Fab Some Brackets For And Gets Rid Of The Old Faded Seatbelts.

I got black leather high back Recaro buckets out of an older mustang. they're mounted to a tube frame that is bolted to the original mount points. tubes run the width of the cab, both seats are bolted to the same frame.

seats..

I put a pair of Mercury Lynx velour bucket seats in my 74 K20..I used the tracks from the original bench seat, and added 6 lengths of angle iron,(an old bed frame!) to join both together and make a reqtangular frame,so the seats had a place to bolt too..I removed the tracks from the Merc seats entirely, and bolted them directly to the angle iron..

This worked out rather well, the seats sat at the right height, and I still had the adjustment of the stock bench seat track, and I made a big console/storage box to fill in the space between the seats to hold all my tools,etc..both seats moved if you adjusted them, but since I rarely carry any passengers, that was not of much concern to me--I'm 6'4" tall, and always have the seat as far back as she'll go anyway,so anyone riding shotgun didn't have legroom issues anyway!..I liked that setup so much I kept it when I finally had to scrap that truck--still sitting in my garage!..

I've currently got 3rd gen camaro seats in my blazer, about to take those out and put 94 suburban captains in.
