I got the chrome hood thing from a family friend. I was searching all over trying to find them and had no luck. I always saw them on the 73-80 style hoods, and saw some on the newer style, i was lucky to come across this one..as for the chrome dress up kit, it seems to be doing fine. It has been on the motors since my dad, grandpa and i rebuilt it. That was at the end of 04 beginning of 05..

a summit one that you can clean and re use.. it was only like 25 bux at summit or something.. doesnt seem to bad of an air cleaner either..

Chrome don't get ya home BUT neither does flat black spray paint. I have a "nice" truck too, so I'm glad to see the "nice" truck guys coming out . Good luck w/ your rig.

How about some red bushings

new paint job. I think following the standard GM coloring era, was cool (two tone). DO this for the two tone:

Cadallac escalade pearl white
Mid section stripe will be purple metallic flake "marbalized" finish.
3 coats of clear.

For a cheaper approach to rims, you can go and powder coat your wheels any color you choose.

Xenon HID H4 conversion.

Interior:
Swap in seats from escalade/tahoe/etc.
Do a dash conversion.

Do a custom headliner.

Paint your axles red, but all the attached hardware black.

Paint your drive shaft like a candy cane for that barshop effect (cheezy)



Shave your door handles

Add a softtop.

Paint the frame.

Fix any rust.

It may have already been posted but I put clear corner lights on mine I love em my dad made fun of me for them but I got a lot of truck owners ask me about them I dont think they look RICE there really almost white
I also put the dimond cut headlights that use the H4 Bulb and a billet girll

Clear lenses dont look rice at all imo. Euro's do on some trucks, but clears? Naw. I consider them an upgrade. I even think Euro's look good on white trucks.

I have Euro's on my mini, I dont think they look too ricey. *shrug*
