I have a black mark in the dash board where someone used brake cleaner :eek1: to get some glue of the dash of a 97 silverado . now there is a black mark where the glue used to be  . What dye or paint can I use to match the black mark where some dye or paint was to the rest of the dash?

i'm not sure i get this... is it up on the vinyl?

it made a black spot, what color is it supposed to be?

vinyl dyes can be tinted to match... tho anytime you try to "spot" something in it will be difficult to make it unnoticable... not an easy product to blend.. not like spotting in basecoat/clearcoat, where you clear out the blend...

Yes it is on the vinyl. The brake cleaner to the paint right off and left it bare plastic by the way it looks. I was thinking the same thing about the spot effect so it looks as though I will have to paint/dye the whole top. What can I use to do this?
