What can you tell me bout this Jacobs thingy

Jacobs just like MSD made aftermarket coils and complete ignition systems, I have their OMNI which includes everything and is supposed to give the spark plugs the amount of current they need to get a full burn.
Yours seems to be just a coil to replace a stock coil.
"Jacobs electronics" was the company google it.

Jacobs Electronics was bought out by Mr Gasket/Accel. If you try and go to the Jacobs website it takes you to the Accel site. The Jacobs electronics was the ignition upgrade back in the late 80's early 90's

I had one on my zuk and it seemed to work well, better than the msd. But I have helped put them on V-8s and the msd seems to do better.

If you already have it I would say run it.
