I just bought a 475hp, full roller 383 stroker motor  It has an Edlebrock 650cfm on it right now and the guy says it is too small. I also have the pumped up Rochester from my 406. Which would be better to start with? Or should I try to get something bigger to begin with? Thanks.

If useing off road, the Q-jet is the first choice for a carb.

Just to throw another one out there, I'm running a Holly ProJection 4D EFI System on my stroker

I'll 2nd the EFI option! ;) :thumb:

I think Summit recommends a 750cfm with their 383...

What Carb

That 650 should be fine unless you plan on running the motor at WOT alot. You'll have more and better low end, and better throttle response. I'd at least drive it first and see. Alot depends on your cam specs too.

Better run a 750 or so. Id say a Barry Grant Mighty Demon, or a proform Holley! Or if you got the money, EFI!

Q-jet will work
670 truck avenger(don't be fooled and put the 770 on there it will be too much)
projection EFI if it fits your budget
