i've got an 83 blazer with a 465/205 setup. bolted to a 350chevy. Does any one know what kind of clutch i'd need? Mines shot and i've gotta do it soon, i'd appreciate any help.
you need a 10 spline 12" clutch. If you just ask for a clutch for your truck, you will get the 11" clutch. It's fine but who wouldn't want an extra inch?!? As far as brand, my Luk pro-gold was $$$, but it slips perfectly and has never let me down. I've ragged it HARD too.
As agreed in previous post, but I run a Centerforce 2. I like the fact it hooks up harder than a stock clutch ( I can also slip it if need be ) but I run a pretty heavy tire and stout HP...Don't forget to have your flywheel surfaced when replacing the clutch, but you already knew that.
