Hey guys i need a bit of insperation , i want to put my roof back on and im not sure what color to paint it would be nice to see a few pictures with your roofs on.Cheers.

Mine is currently blue, but it came from another Blazer. When I finally get Krusty's body work done and painted, it will be color matched to the body with a pair of bowties in the rear corners. The original top was color matched to the factory Arctic White.
What kinda paint should you use to paint the tops? Ive been thinkin about touching mine up or just repainting the whole thing...

The roof is plastic/fiberglass. So just scuff and clean. I rattle canned my 82 four years ago with some ACE fast dry paint. Flaked off in a few months. Ended up taking it off, hitting with 80 grit and then cleaning up with paint thinner. Wiped it down, hit with primer, and shot with HF el cheapo gun. Stayed perfect for last two years. I choose the textured finish like stock. I think some have gone with smooth. Depends on your taste.

i've been lookin into this too and a lot of people swear by duplicolor. i hear rustoleum isn't bad but doesn't have the uv block and fades quicker. apparently you can get a pretty good result by rolling it on with a high density foam roller. surprised me too.
I sanded mine to get it good & clean then sprayed with a one stage dark shadow grey metallic. Added a little flex additive just to be safe. Only places it is coming off is were it has been hit with something.
