I am getting ready to freshen up my hard top for the 72 Jimmy. I am going to spray it with Als Liner and am looking for opinions. I am going to be selling this shortly, So the "go with what color you like best" isnt gonna work:haha: I have it narrowed down to 3 options, Gloss black, White, Or color match to the body.
Here is a pic of what I am working with.

black.. but i am biased, I despise white anything on a vehicle...

White will make your truck pop more, and make it more appealing to the eye to buyers imo

I'm not a big fan of white. But something about the Red/White combo just look real classy.
By the way, nice K5 and is it missing the windshield or is it that clean?

I don't get why anyone would think white is better than black on that rig.. it's got black interior and bodyside moldings.. how does white go with any of that? other than just an opposing color to the red...

That's what I'm sayin, black interior and side molding so needs a black top. Possibly white only of it was chromed out

Just went and picked up new glass for it today. My glass guy is suppossed to stop by sunday hopefully and install it, then off to get it registered and new exaust. Then the new to me hatch should be here monday and i can start rehab on the top. I am sure I will start a new thread for fiberglass repair:dunno:

I think white is a little more vintage/classic looking and black is kind of a newer/modern look. What do you think buyers would want?

i was going to go with black but the contrast of white on any blazer color gives it that vintage stockish look.as clean as yours is id go with the white top personnally.with a darker color and black wagon wheels i was going to go with black top.but ended up getting white keystones and repainting the top white again.with the light red and chrome wheels,i think the white will make it look much better.i have seen it done on a forest green or darker color and it looks real nice but mine is the stock baby blue and it just was correct to have it white.as good as that looks, you ought to get a pretty penny for it.mine is a lot worse off and ive been offerered 4 gs for it already.

I'd go with black. Black was an option from the factory, so it too would be 'stock' as others are saying.
