I'm getting ready to paint my 70K5, and I want that "Damn that's awesome" color. I have thought of sublime green, a bright orange or evena sweet purple. What colors have you guys seen that look awesome on the first gen K5's?

I would go with the sublime green, it would also depend
on interior color. Good luck!

I like the yellow and white on that year truck. K5 might look good too.

I'm painting my 70 Blazer, too! I thought about going with the factory OCHRE color AKA baby poop yellow. I'm still not to sure yet!

Take a look at "Black Jade" or "Black Cherry".

i always liked white with blue racing stripes (its the hotroder in me ) but i dont know how it would look on a blazer

A guy who used to live near me in San Diego (8 years ago) had a 71 that was RED.........and I mean RED. It was beautiful, had the top and body painted to match, with minimalist chrome and polished aluminum wheels........plus topped it off with dark tinted windows.......man, was it sweet.

Keep in mind that dark colors look shinier than bright colors. On the other hand, dark colors make your truck hotter than bright colors.

I personally like the gray as in my Blazer. If I had to choose another color, I'd choose that purple on Doug Wright's Blazer. Check it out on the gallery.
