Should I paint the K5?

I've got it almost totally gutted, still need to pull off the front clip plastic, marker lights, swap the wheels / tires and finish pulling out the air box, wiring / steering column / pedals from the inside, but it should be in primer by sometime next week. Unfortunately, I have no idea what color(s) I want to go...

The truck will have no trim on it, and will be painted using thinned Rustoleum with a proper paint gun / compressor setup (want easy touch ups). The truck is not straight by a long shot, and is used exclusively offroad. I don't mind visible dents / flaws, but I don't want something like flat black that shows all the dirt / dents so prominently.

So, who has suggestions? :D

I'm partial to Burnt Orange lately for some reason.............:dunno:

If all else fails, go with a metallic silver. It's easy to touch up and doesn't show dirt very well.

Hope all is well, Russ.

white is always good, and not too bad on showing imperfections...

and white is kewl in the winter, u cant find your truck...lol

Will be soon Can Man -- Done school Thursday next week and can finally get back to work :) Work means money, which means debts finally get paid off again, and the K5 funds come available shortly afterwards :D

Oh, and post up pics guys! One thing to write down colors, another to show me how awesome your K5 looks rocking said colors!

.

Did you check out the F150 I bought? Me, if I could choose any paint color I would go with whatever the dominant color is where you wheel. If I ever paint my Blazer I will switch from blue to desert tan. I like to blend in with the area so I don't stand out. I've toyed with rattle canning my entire rig on the outside and I as it wears.
