I installed a 4" lift on my '84 CUCV. It has the 4" blocks in the rear. Now my rear driveshaft is a bit short and the pinion angle needs to be corrected.

Thus, my question...what degree of shim do I need for my application?

Thanks in advance,

DUCK

Is it a Blazer or pickup?

Either way, there is no way to tell you what shim you need and it will have a minimal impact on making your driveshaft long enough.

Here is a good explanation of how to determine what degree shim you might need.

I didnt measure a before and after on how much the driveshaft came in/out, I was mainly concerned with vibes.

here is my angle after the 6deg shim...again you need to measure to make sure what size you need.
