what did you break?

Bent the crap out of rear spring hanger on sat. Broke a 1 ton tie rod end on sunday. Bent the holy crap out of the same spring hanger and bent the other one on monday. Also wiped out pass side front bearings on the d60 on the way out of hells somehow. Or maybe they went earlier in the day. Nothing that kept me sidelined so I'm happy with it.
i'm pretty sure on escalator they were gone

One of the things that has shocked me about Moab, is how HARD it is on suspensions! I think last year was the first time in my five (6 if you count '02, but I was there as a passenger) trips there that I didn't hurt any suspension components :dunno:

I agree, I knew it was coming too with my rear shackles hanging out like they do. First one on Prichett, then on Monday playing in the big hot tub on Hells did the other one in. Had the spares in the tool box, but the bent ones are still hanging on. Had the spare tie rod too, changed it out on trail and had spare front bearings too, just didn't realize they where out till we where headed back to the truck. Hopefully will have new suspension by next BB.:D

The tire I sliced last summer finally started leaking. My camera lens is stuck open now too.

Moab is tough on everything, I think because there's so much wheeling there. Lots of places I've been just involve driving to one trail or a park and you wheel a few miles and you're done. Moab has miles of mild obstacles and rough road just to get to the fun stuff. And wheeling several days in a row takes a toll on a rig too.

Developed a leak in the top line fitting on the back of Power steering pump (I think), scratched a left rear marker light lens that was already cracked, dented the left rear chrome center cap on my rim, took some Krylon off the bottom of my rear bumper and both sliders.

When you came down from this you really scraped your slider.

When I saw that pic I was like Hmm I don't remember that. But now you have jogged my memory. Still wondering if there was a reason I went over the rock? I guess because it was there.

Nice pic anyway. Too bad the reflection of the mirror is there.

Dave, don't get too comfortable in the "What did you break?" at Blazer Bash thread. This is thin ice - and it might have unwanted consequences when you bring your own truck... just sayin' :pimp:

That was at the begining of Cliff Hanger.
