What diesels...

Oh, that's towing for sure! Unloaded, my super aerodynamic lifted suburban averages 15 with an all time high of 18.

gotta love them super high tech areodymanic shoe boxes!!! :haha: But 15 even is half again more than a 350 would get you... so in the LONG run a lot less fuel consumption. Also you can make cheap, cheap, cheap biodiesel to run in it too. ;) thus saving a lot more.

How hard is it to set up a PTO winch on a 205 for the tow rig? I read somewhere they pull stronger...but a lot slower. Since it's a tow rig, speed doesn't matter. Can a regular np205 be used for a PTO set up?
Where can I learn more about them. It's the np205 that had the option for PTO right?
Thanks

Both the NP205 and NP203 have the PTO location. In fact so do all most all of the heavy duty 4 spd transmissions. If you look at the side of a transmission or t-case you will see a pto cover plate, rectangular in shape with 6 bolts holding it on :thumb:

I'll take a picture of my np205 tomorrow and get you, or whoever sees the picture first to confirm it is the right spot.
How do I hook up a PTO winch to it?
Thanks kenny!
