what do do with my truck

ok guys this is my question. do i swap bodies? from fullsize to s10, this being and extcab with perhaps a bed or not, do i just run a cab truck? or even possibly start with a s10 blazer and swap drivetrain? these are some visual ideas

well there is nothing wrong with the truck. but i have had the truck out and its a tight squeeze most places. so while the truck is still dent free and pretty clean i thought maybe swap now and gain a lil more breathing room off the road

heres a reference for what i have.. and no parts collected yet

so are you planning to swap parts off your truck onto another truck, or buy all new parts for this new rig? your truck is clean, i checked out ur thread, looks good.

wheelbase is a big issue since u got a long bed. if u dovetailed it like the second pic in ur second post and shortened it and put ~4-5' bed on it itd look badass
 
yeh its real clean...not a show truck but a clean body for age. and i would prolly buy a beater 2wd s10 or something froma scrap yard...but chances are it would become no longer streetable...so idk i want performance but deciding if i wanna trash a body doing it
 
do what i'm doing, s-10 cab on a fullsize frame. keep your truck the way it is, it's too nice to cut up.
 
Put a s10 truck or blazer on it,so you still have room to carry some small stuff.
 
I think its a little too nice to be hackin up just yet. I just wish that my blazer looked half as good as that. hell id settle for a quarter as good as that what can I say my blazer sucks, but I love it anyway.
 
I would go the S-10 pickup cab (extended cab) sell your body, that should help finance the swap. Do whatever for the bed.

Oh and buy a beater car to drive
 
Get a cheapo 2wd s-10 xtended cab and swap your drivetrain into the s10. The s10 frame is stronger. Swap your rear springs to the front and make some mounts to hang them, link the rear (useing coils will bring the cost down) chop off rear frame and back-half it.

EDIT: maybe keep the springs in your k30 and just some cheapo 1/2 ton axles in it. Then it will be a roller and will be much easier to sell than just a body.

i love the way the full witdh look on a blazer body but thin that unless i used a blazer i would swap pickup bodies.....anyone want a clean body?

Yep and I could even score you a clean ext cab s 10 but am pretty sure the distance might be a problem. :(

I have always loved the way s-10s look all full sized out and stuff. I may do that someday if I don't get another samurai
