I bought a '75 k5 as my first automotive rebuild project/experience. No VIN's on the body. Finally found VIN on the frame, and it matches the pink slip. I have noticed that some replacement parts are dependent upon what trim level i have. Also, i would like to try and hunt down all the proper emblems for nostalgia. can anyone tell me PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASE. How do i figure out what dang trim level i have?????????? I cannot find any clues?

If there's no VIN plate on the driver's side door jamb, methinks you're gonna have larger issues than the emblems.

HOWEVER, you can find ALL kinds of stuff, straight from the horse's mouth, on my Brochures page (linked below.) Just go to 1975 and open up the Blazer stuff.

If the glove box still has its sticker (which should also have the VIN), you'll find the "RPO" option codes in there, including the trim level.

The fancy high-end one with the black-striped chrome (excuse me, "bright metal") trim is the Cheyenne, and was often coupled with the two-tone paint. The basic one, IIRC, is "Custom Deluxe". Again, lots of pix and descriptions, exactly as The General sold them 37 years ago, in the brochures.

Before you spend any money on it I would make sure you wont have issues getting registration without the vin.

QFT ;)

And there is the Link to the Brochure for your year http://coloradok5.com/brochures/1975/blazer6.jpg

Note the ones hosted on ck5.com are an incomplete set from when I lost my web host in a divorce; the set on http://brochures.slosh.com/ is updated and more thorough, as I eventually got my web hosting set back up and have expanded the coverage since.
