What models and years do i look for to find 56" rear springs?

I just pulled the rear springs out of a 77 burban parts vehicle and figured they where 56's. Turned out being 52's.

So i am on a 2 day search for 56's and dont need to spend money on 52's thinking they are 56's.

TIA

I think any 3/4 or 1 ton. Each truck varies on how many leaves there are, spring rate, how much they sag, etc. Bring your tape measure and have at it.

1/2 tons wont have them. but 3/4 and 1 tons will. could be that 3/4 tons are mixed. but i know that mine came from a 3/4 ton 2wd burb.

Many 3/4 tons trucks will still have 52" springs. I've parted a couple dozen of them, and still haven't had a set of 56" springs.

From what I've read, there are some 1/2 tons with 56" but it's erally rare, and yet there's some 3/4 and 1 tons with 52". Your best bet is the good ole measuring tape!
