What do I need to know?

I would like to convert from tailgate to cargo doors.
What troubles are there?
Ballpark on used door prices?
Were cargo doors available with defrost?
What extra parts do I need to make sure I get?
Am I insane for wanting to do this?

That's funny I want the opposite. I couldn't beat the truck though for the price. 3K and a 13.00 part to fix it. Runnin' like a champ since I got it. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

Yeah, if I had a tail gate I could run a rear bumper with the rocker guards like 4x4iron has. The wife wants to go to Vegas; just not in my gas hoggin beast.

The colors are close too!!!!! Mine has white where yours has the light blue. Midnight blue top & bottom like yours

Heavy4x4- Thanks for the link. That changes my mind. I don't really know jack about body work. My scout is my first attempt. I'm pluggin all kinds of unneccessary hole in the firewallright now.
