not putting on a stock k10 emblem on the fender of my 68 but replace it with a k20 emblem or even a new chevrolet script k2500 emblem on the lower door like the newer body styles?

just wondering if it'd look funny with the stock raised emblem CHEVROLET across the hood. I'v got conversion headlights and clear turn signals and tails. So i'm leaning towards shavin' them and going with the newer style emblems.
