What do you all think of this Truck I might Buy?

I'm thinking about buying this 1977 chevrolet k5 blazer from this guy. He wants $1500. It has a new engine, tires and gas tank and has been garage kept. Am I making a mistake in getting this? Is it to old? Will it just fall apart? What should I consider? Help!

If it runs, drives, and you can't see through the floor or body panels, then buy it.

It's almost 40 years old. Be prepared to work on it, but that's half the fun.

If it runs and drives well, buy it. I was nervous about the one I just bought for $1400...but I love it. No buyer's remorse. It's got gremlins, but it's fun to dig into and play detective trying to figure out what needs to be fixed and what the heck the previous owners have done! When you get in that price range, you're not risking too much.
