been driving my 88 suburban to work lately. my 97 crown victoria is in storage until the end of the month. the suburban was pulling almost 10mpg though the winter (MN is COLD), it is up 13 mixed now. i have been biking to work some days, which is about 2.5 miles away. i broke my foot last fall, it still bothers me sometimes, so i am not biking everyday. hopefully when the weather improves i'll be able to get back to biking to work every day the weather is good, use the suburban for short trips, and use my crown victoria for distance driving (26mph highway).

Mine is a 99 Nissan Frontier 2wd extended cab. 4 banger, auto, gets a little over 20mpg. 141,000 on the clock and the only thing I've had to do to it other than change fluids and filters is put a set of front brake pads on it. I plan on driving it till the wheels fall off. I have about a 6o mile round trip to work everyday, I fill up once a week, but it helps that I only work 4 days a week!

Here ya go,

98 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with 208K miles, 2" lift to fit 30x9.50's:haha:. Bought it at 86K miles. Used to get 21-22 mpg, more like 18 mpg now. Still runs great, I doubt the lift has much to do with it, I think she's just getting a little loose in her old age.
