What do you listen when you're driving

Just another piece to the puzzle.

Lol.

In the blazer I just throw whatever cd i have laying around in, a mix from The Cars, to ACDC, the beatles, Brand New, The Darkness.... It doesnt do much good against the supertrapps or the tire noise in the end.

In the sonic though I have been using the xm radio. i like the Octane station, besides the occasional screamo rock song. (i hate pig noise "music" if it can actually be called music)

I've got 3 CD's that are on the play list right now. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and The Bellamy Brothers when I just want to mellow it down a touch.

This song always helps make the miles pass quicker!..:D The video quality aint so great, but the song and artist is!..

Mostly classic rock. I have the dazed and confused soundtrack in at the moment. Otherwise it's punk rock from the ramones or guttermouth or random punk bands I've seen. Some nofx or dead Kennedy's is always in my stack of CDs as well.

Well it used to be my favorite radio station WHFS but since CBS has butchered it down to a 10 watt LPFM it's alot of UNedited rock from my MP3 player. Clutch,Tool,AIC,to Jimmies Chicken Shack,Cake,Bloodhound Gang to Grant Lee Buffalo,Big Head Todd....pretty wide range that stops way short of Gansta in one direction and Country in the other ( my truck will spit you out for either of those)
I have some nice soothing stuff for traffic jams like Offsprings 'Bad Habit' or Pantera 'Walk':D

I have music ADD. I get board with any type of music in half an hour. Drives my wife nuts. Xm gets moved between the Frankenliner, the Jimmy and the Blazer. It has country, christian, prime country, classic vinyl, classic rewind, ozzies boneyard, prime country, comedy, and old radio show channel and a few others I can't think of. No talk radio. I am pissed off enough when I drive.

Well I generally listen to the news and weather report in the morning,by the end of the day I am tired of noise and don't listen to anything on the way home, and if on a road trip in the wife's car I will probably throw on a Mötley Crüe or ac/dc cd, but everytime I play that stuff I usually end up running close to a 100mph!

I transfer between stations on XM, the highway for country and octane for some rock. Occasionally I'll listen to howard stern and backspin for that classic hip hop rap stuff.

I stopped listening to traditional FM radio a long time ago. Can't stand the talking and commercials. On the rare occasions I do listen to any radio, its Ozzy's Boneyard or Octane on SiriusXM.

any music with an attitude. uh now that i'm thinking about it maybe thats why i'm an asshole.

Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty, etc. type classic rock. Sometimes progressive like Rush, King Crimson, etc. If I have to listen to FM I've been going country recently even though I haven't historically gone to it. Can't stand current popular music.

Is this the right thread to ask what people have going on for radios in the K5? I have an ancient Kenwood that could fit into the K5 "two round dial" spot. I put it in 20 years ago and still remember how totally miserable it was to gain access up in there. I'd hate to sawzall a rectangular spot for a modern radio.
