what do you think of ACCENT PANELS?

I am thinking of adding ACCENT PANELS to my newly painted '86 k5 blazer.
What do you guys and girls think of the way it will make the truck look?

I think that you would be pissed when they get damaged. They aren't armor. I had my sides Line-x'ed from the bottom of the rocker panel up about 10 inches. It looks great and is tougher than the metal underneath. Good flexible armor. You can get it done for around the same price.

I'm looking to get them from a bling bling point of view not to protect my finish. Trust me my paint is protecting itself. Got to love rust bullet.

Yeah, but all it takes is one stump or rock to mess up your paint. Got any pictures? Do you use the rust bullet under the paint like a primer?

I used Rust bullets gray paint as a primer then I painted over that with Rust bullets black shell to act as a base coat. Every part of the cab was hit with rust bullet. With just the rust bullet you can see yourself really good in the paint. I have not cleared it yet. It lookes really good so far. After talking to a few people I found a clear coat that will work with it. I will get pics as soon as it is done. I'm not really planning on off-roading this truck. I'm buliding a harcore go-kart to do all my off-roading in. hahah
But any ways I had a few people warn me about using rust bullet because it's just a primer. Plus I have found that when it cures it's looks and fells like plastic. But it bonded with the body really well. Zip strip really does not touch this stuff. But the real test coes when I spray my clear coat.
