I just got my bedside panels back from this guy that does upholstery down the street from me in his garage.

I am not sure what to think of them, they look good from a distance, but I do see a couple crooked stitches here and there, plus he only did one row of stitching where the factory ones have two tandem rows. I think I am going to go ahead and use them, unless you guys think they look pretty bad, then I guess I'll bite the bullet and find a fancy upholstery shop.

Oh, and a pic of my new Mercedes leather seats just for fun.:haha:

They don't look bad but its hard to see in the pics, the seats are way cool

I hope he was inexpensive. And, being it's his side job/hobby, you're probably not going to get a refund. You may as well use them and get your moneys worth out of them. For a while at least, and then get them done again later on.

From the way it looks, you're a bit of a perfectionist. I've been there before so here's some advice.

1. Anyone looking at them with a glance won't notice anything wrong with them, ie. at a car show or cruise night
2. You can't see them while your sitting in the drivers seat so they shouldn't bother you too much

I'd run em.

After looking at em again, I think I would run them for now and get them redone later. I like the double stitching much better. The single just doesn't look right.

But they don't look bad at all. More of a preference thing with me than anything else.

But you are building this truck to full awesomeness so I would think that tackling those at a later date would be the best thing since they are pretty easy to take in and out

I paid $150 for them. One thing that is nice, they do fit, he at least got the sizing correct. I do plan to buy a Skyler soft top when they are re released this spring. Can't wait.:woot:

They look good, use them, you can always change your mind later.
The job you are doing on your truck is sweet! Looks great man!
