L7 box on Ebay I currently have one L7, but just might have too buy a 2nd one.

It looks like a nice box, it's made with mdf instead of particle board. Is the ft3 and ports the right size?

The only thing that would make me suspicious is Zero feedback, new seller with professional looking auctions, and no location listed.

i dont know what L7's require for port volume but that looks a little much to me.

i personally wouldnt buy a box online. the shipping charges cost almost as much as the box.

It's not that it is ported to big, but more like it is ported incorrectly, divided in the middle and not enough air space. It took that guy a whopp'n 15min and $15 to put that box togather.

Like I said its a piece of $hit and a waste of money. Z don't do it to your L7's, unless of course you just bought them for looks, but hell at that point you might as well kick the cones in and save yourself some time. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Hey, it's just my opinion. I've only owned a stereo shop once and only have about 50 trophys from the last 10years of compitions, silly me I'm a dumb$hit when it comes to this stuff.

so are any pre-fab boxes worth it? my JL W7 box cost $150 for the local shop to make. but it's all 3/4 mdf with a 1-1/2" thick front!

The box I bought of ebay for my 12's in amazingly nice for the price

I'll know how q logics boxes and another ebay sellers boxes are within a week

Q Logic Boxes, nice, sloppy carpeting cutout around the terminal cup, solid, overpriced

ksmith936 ebay box - Nicer than Q Logic, better terminal cup, very clean and solid, cheap, fits a Pioneer 305C 12" (5.5" Mounting Depth) All around great box

Got my box today, wouldn't ya know,the 12" L7 doesn't fit. Not a big issue, I just need too make the hole alottle bigger. I just thought the 12" L7 would fit a box made for the 12" L7, LOL. Other then that, it's a nice box.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, it's built very well. All the seams are tight. I may run a bead of silicon around all the seams just because I like too do things alittle overkill, but it doesn't look like it neads any.
